Meet our Professional Biologist/Naturalist Guides Jake and Eliana

Eliana and Jake are top notch field biologists and guides who met while studying human-wildlife conflict in Botswana. After graduating with biology degrees, the couple has worked together in Alaska, Madagascar, Malawi, Yellowstone and the Everglades. Guiding for Shurr Adventures, the pair merge their passions for conservation and education while leading tours in Yellowstone and Everglades National Park. Whether its birding, plant identification, the ability to spot wildlife or explaining the current issues facing the Everglades; these two are the people you want to paddle with in the Everglades!
